What a waste of money and work! Resurface this with CAS #100 or #103 in the refinishing cement; or next time, just add CAS #103 to the pour to arrest such a problem.
This extremely simple CAS #100 non-toxic surface saturation application, will provide a concrete logevity upgrade, prevent annoying concrete surface web cracking and pop out holes, and ensure a lifetime of waterproof and strengthened fusion.
Another common failure! Resurface this with CAS #103 in your refinishing cement, or like the previous slide, just spray CAS #100 when its new or before it gets worse.
From homeowner to major parking lots, resurfacing done with CAS #100 mixed in or applied afterward, will increase longevity, strength, and provide our lifetime waterproofing and stregthening advantage.
Our optional use CAS #108 pre-treatment cleaning and etching fluid can clean and remove pollution, increase the actual CAS #100 applications saturation, and it wont harm vegetation.
Following their CAS #108 clean and prep, our crew applied an CAS #100 treatment that saturated, densified, and waterproofed for life this complete exterior concrete structure.
Amazing that this newer concrete can be so damaged. Our crew repaired it cosmetically without paint, using CAS #100 with cement, and colorants, to fuse and make the cracks disappear.
CAS #104 can coat sewage, water, and petroleum tanks without a polluting chemical pre-clean, and increase its waterproof concrete compressive strength by up to 2 times after 28 days. It also remains fully operational even if the surface gets damaged.
CAS #103 in shotcrete, or CAS #100 sprayed over any shotcrete product, will preserve, further densify, and boost adherence to original surfaces, for life time waterproofing of: aqueducts, canals, water storage towers, etc.
What seemed to be just cleanable pollution staining, was actually acid pollution destruction of these ledge surfaces.
The ledges seen in the previous slide were repaired by our crew, but capable cement users using CAS #101 and coloring, could also achieve the same waterproof results.
With a deep clean and prep or media blast; followed by an CAS #100 saturating fusion spray, or CAS #101 resurfacing, such items can be strengthened and waterproofed for decades of continued use.
If sound, this structure can be saved and preserved for an extended life with a media blast or CAS #108 pollution clean and prep, followed by an CAS #100 saturation spray or CAS #101 coating.
These separate pours for pad thickness, separated when flooded by leaking landscape water. An CAS #100 application between pours, even down to just a few degrees Fahrenheit, would have fused them permanently.
Using CAS #100 our crew repaired the cracks and pop-outs of the pad seen on the previous slide. Then the complete pad was flooded with CAS #100 to strengthen, waterproof, and prevent any additional internal rebar rusting and expansion pressure.
An CAS #101, #103 or #104 food grade, non-toxic paintable concrete surface can provide at least a 6" depth saturation and lifetime waterproofing fusion for food handling, and similar wet environment plant floors and walls. If finishes wear away the concrete saturation will always remain effective.
Terra cotta is a fired bisque that forms hard rigid panels. We repair broken terra cotta with a custom mix of materials, that strengthened with CAS #100 provides all of the same benefits it does for regular concrete.
This brick shaped piece of concrete was completely submerged in a highly corrosive solution for one week. Its CAS #100 treated end emerged almost completely free of any deterioration.
CAS #104's non toxic, food grade status is useable for any interior applications by adding, spraying, or rolling it on before tiling, staining or polishing, for additional strength and waterproofing advantages.
Old wood found in restoration work, and new wood, can both be treated with CAS #100 to obtain rot, mold, mildew, and rusting metal parts deterioration protection.
A non toxic CAS #108 or media blast treatment to remove deep pollution, followed by a CAS #103 non-toxic surface coating will add many years of serviceability, waterproofing, and a strength increase to such structures if deemed sound for repair.
An CAS #101 admix at pour, or surface applied liquid saturation afterward provides lifetime waterproofing and strengthening fusion, that being densified, also stops concrete dust formation, augments an excellent smooth finish surface, and prevents surface cracking.
An CAS #104 food grade admix or CAS #100 surface spray saturation will provide any cistern with a lifetime food grade waterproofing, and strengthening fusion process, to prevent both seepage and cracking.
CAS #103 admix in a pour for any: structural, access plain, or decorative accoutrement shaping treatment: provides non toxic waterproofing, strengthening fusion, and rebar rust prevention, all as a quality and performance improvement factor.
The absence of CAS #101 admix, or an CAS #100 after spray saturation, allowed moisture from above to build up behind this large caulking application, that otherwise would not have required the expensive repair circumstance shown.
Our CAS #105 is a non toxic, lead free, thin coat, Radiation Attenuation Shield. Used as an admix, by shotcrete, or even strewn, it provides protection and storage in existing or new on site buildings and silos, thus reducing disposal transport needs.
Basement and floor pours that use an CAS #101 admix or CAS #100 as a liquid saturation spray afterward; realize lifetime waterproofing and strengthening, plus better floor to wall fusion. Applying a Radon stopping CAS #107 spray can also avoid a costly Radon kit instillation.
Scratch and brown coats with added CAS #101 in their mix, or if sprayed before the plaster coat, will add waterproofing and strengthening fusion to bond all such elements together.
We rebuilt this 85 year old terra cotta fascia that burst due to rusting rebar. Using CAS #100 in this kind of cosmetic repair stops the rust without having to cut away and replace it.
Adding CAS #101 to any grouting material will far exceed the service life of regular grout, including its resistance to wicking moisture at the ground level, or from any drainage above.
Micro cracks become big cracks and eventually expensive replacements. We applied CAS #100 twice, that saturated, densified, and healed the cracks over the course of a week in these and many other cast stone items.
There are millions of slowly disintegrating cast and poured cement cap stones and garden walls everywhere. A simple brush, roll, or spray treatment with liquid CAS #100 at installation, or afterward will densify and waterproof them for a superior life of quality service.
In this unfortunate instance moisture constantly migrating downward through the untreated concrete cap stones, including snow melt, built up in the weakest layer and destroying it and the concrete below. We rebuilt it adding an CAS #100 treatment. Preventable if done originally.
The size of a project is immaterial, very large or very small, the addition of various CAS products as an admix or after treatment provides the lifetime waterproofing, strengthening, and rebar rusting prevention concrete needs. Especially in the instance of stop and start pour fusion, and already rusting rebar as seen in the vertical pieces.
Sink a precast base or pour in a tube; it won't matter, if the ground is constantly soaked by landscape moisture around it, consistent un-noticed wicking will cause this. Using a cost saving treatment like CAS #101 admix originally would prevent this. Repairs done with CAS #104 can salvage the destroyed finish permanently.

All the silicone or poly stuck up in corners is not going to stop the concrete landscape box above this underground parking lot, from leeching out its water and dirt down the walls. Our food grade CAS #100 spray inside garden bed enclosures will not destroy plants, and if CAS #104 admix is used when pouring, it will also prevent such leakage.
Curbing and walkways like these are almost everywhere and are susceptible to moisture, freeze-thaw, and abuse. CAS #101 admix or CAS #100 sprayed on afterward would make them stronger and thoroughly waterproofed for a longer, stronger life.
Bursting foundation walls, bridge sections, etc., can be saved by treating the exposed concrete and rebar with CAS #100, before rebuilding the void with an CAS #101 admix.
Having never been treated with a deep saturating consolidant like CAS #100 this degraded, softened wall surface gave way to deterioration that we removed before cosmetic correction, and proper #100 densification.
These cosmetic restoration treatments, with no paint over, we accomplished by using CAS #100 plus colorants. The before and after, pictures though fuzzy, show how successful CAS is when used properly.
